Bowling With Kindergartners
They were scheduled to go to the park afterward to eat their sack lunch but it was too wet, so we ended up going back to the school. Since I had promised Shelby that I would eat lunch with her, Emily and I went back to the school and had lunch with her in the cafeteria and then played with her afterward on the playground for a bit. My sister joined us as well and had lunch with her Kindergarten daughter, Katie. Overall we had a fun day and I am so thankful that I am fortunate enough to be able to go and do things like this with my daughter. I hope it is something that she'll always remember. When it was time for Mandy and I to leave the girls, as their recess was about to end, the tears began to flow. They did not want to stay at school. They wanted to be checked out early. My sister had to go back to work, but I told them they could go with me. I had a few things that I needed to do back at the office, but the girls are old enough to help out with Emily and they will keep themselves entertained while I work. I had to order some checks and envelopes from Quickbooks. Thankfully I had some coupons to use so that I could save a bit of money because we all know that in today's economy every penny you can pinch is a penny well saved! I did what I needed to do and the girls and I came home. Tyler was riding horses (go figure) with his grandpa so we had a quiet afternoon watching some movies and hanging out.
