Thursday Thirteen - Randomness of my week

Thirteen Random Things About My Week

1. Shelby will start Kindergarten Monday. I am handling this pretty well, right now.
2. We met her teacher on Tuesday. We also took all of her school supplies to her classroom I didn't shed a tear.
3. One of her great friends from pre-school is in her class. This was a great relief!
4. The weather here has been awesome since last Thursday. We've had some rain in the mix, but temps in the 80s and 90s is a dream come true for thie overworked, VERY pregnant momma!
5. This is my second week training my replacement at work. She's doing very well AND I'm not just sayin' that because she just so happens to be my sister either.
6. Next week is my last week with my current employer.
7. The week after that, our third child is due.
8. Yesterday I went to the doctor and he informed me that I am dilated to a 2.
9. The doctor also told me that he's delivered 5 babies this week...something about the barometric pressure dropping as well as a full moon.
10. I informed him that we we not delivering this one before I got to see other baby girl off to Kindergarten.
11. Please keep your fingers crossed for me that sending Shelby to Kindergarten does not put me into labor.
12. They told us that they want us to drop off our children at the curb and then leave them.
13. Ummm...I don't think so. I am going to the classroom with her, and I WILL have my camera in hand. I will send a note to the teacher that I am a blogging mommy and these things must be documented!

My 3rd child was born on my 39th week...I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
And I hope it's a short and quick delivery like mine (less then 20 minutes girl!).
Take care! ;)

Let's face it I am miserable at getting things done and baby will be walking at the rate I am getting these burp clothes finished. I'm still making them, but I think they'll be arriving after she does.
Good luck with the first day of school, you'll be fine.

I think the school pretty much expects that a parent will be bringing their child to their kindergarten class for at least the first few days. Our kindergarten teachers do and are prepared for that. You'll eventually feel comfortable dropping at the curb, especially once the baby arrives.

Busy week and with a new baby it will get even more so. I hope you find a little time to relax.

Ah, I still remember when my son went off to kindergarten (his mother cried for an hour) and when, a few years later, my daughter went to kindergarten (I almost cried but fought against the urge as I'm just that darned manly).

It'll be OK...

You might want to have a discussion with the little one to make sure she understands that she's supposed to wait until her big sister gets into kindergarten. She'll probably talk back a bit and wonder why she has to be second.

LOL!
