Thursday Thirteen - Mom's Day Edition
2. She catches spit up/vomit in her hands.
3. She is more excited that SHE slept through the night than her child!
4. She knows other adults as "Tyler's Mom" and not their real name.
5. You hear her humming rubber duckie in the shower.
6. She asks you where the "potty" is located.
7. Her travel schedule is planned around McDonald's Playland locations.
8. There is at least one load of laundry in the washer or dryer, possibly both.
9. She is counting the sprinkles on the kid's cupcakes to make sure they are equal.
10. She buys cereal with marshmallows in it.
11. She'll have only one leg shaved because she didn't have time to shave the other.
12. If she serves finger sandwiches at a party, they are in cute little shapes.
13. Her clothes might not coordinate exactly as the should because she was afraid to turn on the light as she dressed so she wouldn't wake the kids that didn't make it through the night in their own bed!

I had to really laugh when I got to #4 as I was just saying yesterday that I wanted to send a thank you gift down to New Jersey and Darcy's family for being so kind as to take me to the airport and all but I didn't know the name of Darcy's mother except as "Darcy's Mom"! I knew her father's name and her grandmother's name but her mom's name had slipped my mind completely! DUH! Turns out it's Pamela and I'm sure I would have remembered that had she introduced herself to me as such!
Those were all very good. I especially recall the one legged shave deal back in the day when my children were small. :O)
