Manic Monday - Rock

This was the scene back in March when we traveled just down toe road to Mountain View, Arkansas for the weekend. It was such a beautiful weekend. You might remember a Ruby Tuesday post I did where Tyler did a nose dive from the monkey bars and fell face first into the rocks below..  That incident also occurred while we were in beautiful Mountain View, Arkansas.   Thankfully, the search for river rock ended well.  They both had a bag full of shells, rock, and other odd sticks and what not.  I loved this shot because of the depth of the photo.  The beauty of the scenery just seems to go on and on just as the search for rocks would have if it were up to the children.  They enjoyed the rock search.  I enjoyed photographing them and Brien enjoyed lounging in the boat enjoying some peace and quiet while waiting on us.  I'm not too sure he didn't catch a bit of sleep while he waited.  Although relaxing in Las Vegas hotels after a fun night of gambling is fun, but I just don't know that anything can beat the peaceful, serene, and relaxing setting we enjoyed on this beautiful day.

Manic Monday - Wet

This might not be Niagra Falls, but I would imagine you could get wet if you wanted to. This is Blanchard Springs located in Mountain View, Arkansas. It is a beautiful place to visit and you can do some cave exploring while you're here as well as camping, hiking, swimming, and fishing! A getaway is always good for the soul. Getting away from the worries of doing homework, changing diapers, or whatever your day to day worries may be. Today is our first official day of Spring Break. It sure would be nice to be back there. Instead, I'm at the office trying to get our tax deductions added up! The deadline is quickly approaching.

Looking @ The Sky on Friday

The skies over Mountain View during our recent fishing trip were mostly cloudy and dreary, so I didn't get very many decent shots. But, I loved the look of the beautifully fluffy clouds in this shot! I hope you do too. I am finding myself with more and more sky photos in my computer memory due to the love of my new Canon Digital Rebel and sky photography! I am so glad that I have this wonderful group of bloggers to share them with!!! Keep looking to the sky, folks and link here on Fridays when you post a sky shot. Every week we're growing. Thank you to everyone who has participated and welcome to the new comers. We hope to see you back next week.

Happy Friday the 13th!

Manic Monday - Full

A Net Full of Fish

Okay, it's not full, but we caught our limit. We couldn't have put anymore in it legally. We spent the weekend in Mountain View, Arkansas. It was beautiful. The weather was a bit windy, but overall it was nice. We had a wonderful time! Yes, Tyler wore his cowboy boots in the boat. I could not get him to put on crocks. Yes, they are still wet! *LOL* More photos and details to come. I've got to get the kids up and ready for school. This time change is kicking my butt already! Happy Manic Monday, my fellow minions.
