Spring Break 2011 - Day 2

Photobucket
The day started off just right.  I got out of bed, poured me a cup of coffee, sat it on my desk and began to work.  I am absolutely LOVING the fact that I can get up a couple of hours before the kiddos and get most of my daily work completed.  Then I have time to spend with them afterward.  Sitting at my desk in my PJs with unbrushed hair and no make up is so rewarding to a mother of three who can work while the kids sleep!!!

Tyler had spent the night with his Memaw and Papaw so the girls and I spent the afternoon doing something he despises...shopping!  But, before we went shopping we did had lunch at the Sushi Cafe.  It is one of my favorites and fortunately my 2.5 year old will eat the fried rice, so we loaded up and headed over.  Shelby and I had our favorite dish, Bom Rolls!  They are avocado, cream cheese, and lobster filled, deep fried deliciousness!  We enjoyed a nice lunch and headed out to do some shopping.  We got a lot of cute dresses and summer things for both girls with our Rhea Lana paycheck.  Since Tyler wasn't with us, we didn't do any shopping for him.

After a day of shopping with the girls, we met up with my sister and her two kids for Fro-Yo (frozen yogurt).  You get your favorite yogurt, and visit the topping bar for any and every topping imaginable from fresh fruit to candy bars and cereal!  The kiddos love it and often add LOTS of toppings to only a little yogurt. The kids ate their yogurt and then chased each other around on the sidewalk in front of the store in the awesome Spring weather!

All in all day 2 of Spring Break was good, with the exception of getting a call at 10pm from my mother in law saying that Tyler was running fever and didn't feel good so he wanted to come home.  GREAT!  Halfway through Spring Break and one man down already!

John Steve and Emily are giving you quite a look! I'm so happy that you are able to work from home and enjoy the time with your kiddos too. You are awesome and I love you!

I used to love it when I got up before anyone else and started my day in the early morning quiet. Unfortunately, now that would involve getting up around 3 or 4 in the morning and I am just not that dedicated to early morning quiet.
