I had one of those moments last night with my husband. Mom's will know exactly what I am talking about. I had one of those moments where in the midst of the moment, I just laughed and said "THIS" is a big part of what makes me a mom!
Brien and I had dropped the older kids off at Vacation Bible School and on the way back home, we stopped and got something to drink. Emily, of course was already upset that she was not allowed to stay with the kids at VBS. We got her some french fries and a corn dog. Of course the food was straight out of the deep fryer. Isn't that how it always goes? When you order food for yourself, it's generally luke warm or cold. If you're ordering for your children it's always scalding hot! Needless to say, Brien and I were frantically "cooling" the french fries in front of the air conditioning vent as she was screaming for "Fench Fies"!
When I looked over at my husband we both laughed and he said, I'm sure you are going to blog about this, right?! But of course!!!

mmm, french fries! It's been so hot here that I haven't been able to cook! Can't believe E is old enough to eat fries--time has sure flown by!
