Now available from Disney DVD, "Pete's Dragon - High Flying Edition". This movie made it's debut the same year as this CrAzY Working Mom, in 1977! It combines animation and live action film. I don't remember ever watching this film as a child, but watching it with my own children was fun! I remember blaming my "imaginary friends" when things mysteriously happened at my home, and although my children have not caught on to this tactic yet, they thought it was refreshing to see it happen in Pete's Dragon. Although, it actually was the "invisible" Elliot the dragon causing all sorts of problems for Pete, an orphan. This is a classic uplifting tale filled with loads of comedy, soaring musical numbers, and who else, but Mickey Rooney himself?! The folks at Walt Disney Company have introduced a new motion picture label, DisneyNature. The first film to come from this new label is "Earth" narrated by James Earl Jones. Now available on Blu-ray™ Hi-Def and DVD DisneyNature's Earth is a trio of unforgettable stories. In March of the Penguin style, this movie follows three "families" through nature. Since I am a huge fan of the Discovery Channel, this movie was right up my alley. Although sometimes reality can be a bit harsh, I enjoyed the three intertwined stories of the Arctic Polar Bear and her cubs, the herd African Elephants, and the humpback whale and her calf. Bonus features include behind the scenes making of the movie. This movie is now available for your viewing pleasure!
