Wow! That puts a great deal into perspective. Awesome list!
There are some of those that make me very grateful to not have lived back then...1,9-13..then others would be nice..a little slower paced.
OMGarsh ... I don't think I would do very well back then, esp. when I would eat all of the shampoo!!
Hello from SpeedyCat
Great list and very hard to believe. Only 14 % of homes had bath tubs...I bet those were some pretty stinky times;) Happy TT and thanks for stopping by. Could you imagine only making $200 a year?? Yikes!
Yes it is amazing what progresses have been made in the last 100 years ! And still even today some women think that washing their hair more than twice a months is not good !
Fascinating list. I wonder what they will look back at in 2108 and gasp at how primitive we are!
Trivia: In 1905 there were only two cars in the entire state of Kansas, but they still managed to crash into each other.
What a difference a century makes!
I love reading facts like this! Thanks!
I posted my first Thursday Thirteen post here.
and people still bitch about what we have, go figure.
Man sugar went up in price and eggs went down,if you figure that up through the years anyhow-
Very interesting,I love this stuff!!!
Interesting facts Tish. Enjoy your Thursday. Cheers!!
Loved this, Tish! I love reading about how much things are today! Ha! Thanks for visiting me at my TT post! I appreciate it! :)
my how times have changed!! A great list that puts things into perspective!
Great list....I am one of those silly people who loves to read "This Day in History" whenever I can. You learn so much.
Happy Thursday!
Hi Tisha. This is an interesting list. Makes me appreciate the privileges we have in today's modern times.
My TT: Environmental Care
Sure helps in the perspective department! Happy T-13!
Don't use wish things were still so inexpensive?
What a great list. I didn't know most of these either. Excellent look back into the past. Have a great TT Tisha. :)
I'm so grateful to be around now instead of then. It's weird to think my husband's grandma, she's 91 1/2, was around when things were nearly like that. Wow!
Damn, no iced tea.
I'm going to un-plug the Way-Back Machine.
My, how times have changed!
Great list! Amazing how different our lives are. I can't help but wonder what will be different in 100 years from now, too.
Once a month wash my hair. I would be a puddle of grease and filth. Yucky. Interesting list!
How interesting! Thanks for the great read! Happy TT!
That's just fascinating. It's amazing how far we've come.
