Saturday Photo Hunt
Since I'm no skinny minny like TN Chick, our lovely Photo Hunt Hostess, I thought I'd post a photo of our Daschund, Oscar. They are known for their long, SKINNY bodies. You have to be careful with this particular breed so that they do not get overweight and that they do not jump down from furniture because they can easily break their backs. The vet says that Oscar is particularly long, so we'll always have to be cautious about his weight but that right now he's perfect. Hi Tish! What a cutey. Good friends of ours had a daschund that insisted on jumping up and down off the couch that resulted in a very bad back. Poor puppy! I didn't qualify as the subject for "skinny" either!

Oscar looks like a very cute woofie. :) We Sphynx tend to be skinny and lean too. :) The fast metabolism that helps keep us warm also keeps us long and lean. :)
He works great for the skinny theme. He looks very healthy. They are mighty long and I never knew how important it is for them not to get over weight.

Oscar is so cute! But next time, show his face! My son and daughter in law have a mini dauschund, Maggie..she jumpes from couch to table to couch, they cant keep her from jumping! She is also skinny! I didnt even think of her for this weeks hard theme! My hunt is up, please come and visit
