Is it just me or do all of the light bulbs in the house seem to burn out at the same time? I went to replace a bulb in one room over the weekend and used the last light bulb in the house. Now there is a bulb out in two other rooms in the house. It seems like it happens this way every time.

They certainly do seem to go all at once. I lost two bulbs in two days!
Probably because we replace them at the same time, that's why they then always burn out at the same time - at least on the lights that we use about the same amount of time. At least that's my theory and I'm sticking to it!
I am addicted to CFL's now.I have had one blow in almost two years and none of the others have-SO worth the money.
How funny...my son's just burned out tonight and wouldnt you know, we didnt have a replacement. So what do you do?? Steal one from a lamp you dont use that much...lol. I can so relate:)
I have six recessed lights in my peaked kitchen ceiling. It takes a bit of wrangling with an extender to change those bulbs (which are flood lights). They always, ALWAYS go out in groups of three.
Luckily, the bulbs are sold in packs of three. Hmmmmm.....
