More to Come

I left work early again today. I tell ya what, business has really been slow for us this week. I'm just hoping (y'all cross your fingers for me) that the slow week was mostly due to the rain we've had for 90% of the week. Next week if the weather is back to normal, things will return to normal. I just know it!

Anyhow, I went and picked up the kiddos and we ventured to Wal-Mart. That is SO NOT the place to be on the Friday afternoon before Halloween for sure! It was a mad house in there. Thank goodness I only had a few items to retrieve. The main ones were some carving pumpkins. We have some small pumpkins that the kiddos got from the pumpkin patch on Sunday, but we needed a couple of big ones so that Brien and I the kids can carve some cool pictures in it!

I took some pictures of the kids out in the yard with them this afternoon. I usually like to do a fall/Halloween picture to send to the family. I'll post it here later. The only good shot I got of the two of them I wasn't really happy with, but when you have a four year old and a two year old you can't really be all that picky.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Come back later on for some carving photos. :)

In lieu of our canceled it concert, it seems that we are going to be taking the girls to a mall instead (shudder!) and I can only imagine how packed it's going to be what with the rain we're having and it being the weekend before Halloween. But, we need to do something or Amanda will just pout all weekend. Can't say that I blame her, though!

Thinking about getting a pumpkin to carve, too - they're having a contest at work and it might be kind of fun to enter. I haven't done any carving in quite some time but maybe I could dust off my skills and give it a go!

Looking forward to your pictures later!
