Can we all say "Duhhhh"?
It never ceases to amaze me how some people can be so absent minded. It kills me when I answer the phone where I work and I give this big long spill about where they called and who I am and they they ask if it is the same place that I just named! Duhhh!! What is even funnier is when they call and ask to speak to the counter, instead of a counter salesman. *LOL* One of these days I'm going to lay the phone on the counter and let them speak away. We are in a building where there used to be a lighting store. We sell plumbing fixtures and supplies. The other day, in walked a man who looked around after passing THREE signs that say PLUMBING on them. He then asks if we are a lighting store?! C'mon, people put your thinking caps on before you go out in public. That's all I'm asking! Jeesh!

This is also a pet peeve of mine. It's ridiculous how often people leave the house without a plan of how to get where they are going.
And so many people cannot keep directions in their head. So they try to read the directions and end up in the wrong lane to make a right or left turn. Then they panic and can't realize that all you need to do is make the opposite turn and go around the block to try again.
Sheesh!
