Manic Monday

More Manic ~ Manic Monday HQ

This is a dog named Blue. If you have small children you are probably pretty familiar with her. Shelby has graduated to the likes of High School Musical, That's So Raven, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody etc. So, we don't watch a whole lot of Nick Jr. But, when she was Tyler's age, she LOVED Blue's Clues. The show Blue's Clues begins when the host, (when we watched it was Steve but I think it's someone new now) asks Blue a question. She then reveals that she wants to play Blue's Clues by marking a blue paw print on an item. With the help of the audience, the host searches for three more blue paw prints through out the house. Along the way we meet characters such as side table drawer which holds the "handy dandy notebook". This is the item that the host will draw the clues in to help him (and the audience) figure out the clues. There are also Mr Pepper and Mrs Salt, Mailbox (where we get letters to a nifty tune), and the thinking chair (where we sit and "think, think, think" to figure out the clues. You can click HERE to hear the theme song.

My children were to old for Blues Clues, but you still can't escape the blue dog on everything from sheets to overalls. It sounds like a great show for children.

Oh yes, we're big Blues Clues fans here! Although I miss the old ones with Steve - Joe just isn't nearly as good.

Arggghhhh! I was driven insane by this because of a little girl i use to babysit. She would demand to watch the same one over and over again, until the TV accidentally broke! Okay i plugged the plug because i couldn't take it any more :)

I have to admit that I never understood the whole Blues Clues phenomenon. My kids use to watch that show and I simply never 'got it'. (sigh)

My Manic Monday post is up. In it I discuss my favorite detectives who use clues to solve murder mysteries!

peace, Villager

YAY! I'm so weird.. I loved Blue's Clues before I ever had kids.. I had a crush on Steve. Joe is nowhere near as good as Steve was! Now they've got Blue's Room too, and Blue TALKS??? I don't know what's up with that. The Blue I know and love goes Bow-Ba-Bow!!!

Blue Skiddoo, we can too!

Did you ever see Mr Salt and Mrs Pepper's baby??? So cute-- Baby Paprika!!!

The original guy -- steve-- went to my highschool. Okay, well, I never knew him; he graduated several years before me. But my Spanish Teacher always talked about him.

My daughter loved Blue's Clues when she was younger. I thought it was a cute show too...much better than most kids' shows.

My son loves Blue's Clues. At first, I thought Blue was a boy but after watching it for a while I found out she's a girl. We have several videos of Blues Clue's at home.

I can't believe I didn't think of Blue's Clues! Georgia loves that show, and it is quite funny to watch her "skadoo".

The real question is, are you a Steve fan or a Joe fan??
