Kid Nation
So, are any of you watching the CBS show Kid Nation? This show really has me hooked. The premise of this show is that 40 children (ranging from ages 8 to 15) live in a New Mexico ghost town (which has doubled frequently as a movie set) without their parents. Their mission: to improve the town, and vie for $20,000 that's awarded in every episode by the town's leaders. In the first episode, it was very emotional and I must admit that I cried when the youngest member of the town claimed that he missed his mom and dad and he didn't think he should be there because he was so young. He ended up leaving at the end of the episode. There's also a beauty queen diva who is also a town council member. She proclaimed in the first episode that she was a beauty queen and she doesn't do dishes. On tonight's episode, she said that beauty queens do not cook and if they couldn't cook for themselves she would starve. She also admitted that she couldn't wash dishes because beauty queens use dishwashers! Hah! This chick's got it all figured out doesn't she?!

Luckily DWTS goes to just Monday and Tuesday next week. I have to remember Kid Nation. I was surprised that I enjoyed the first show.
You definitely should have watched! i was also a little surprised by how much i liked the first show and this was just was good if not better! i dont want to ruin it for you but the kids definitely have to step up and learn how to organize themselves and work together. taylor (the beauty queen) definitely acts like a total diva..its so entertaining! You should go to CBS.com and watch the whole episode!
i watched both weeks now and i love this show. i will miss some of them though while we are on the cruise, they are not seen online like big brother and survivor are. it's a good show!
