Renting to Owning...but still wanting!
We bought our first home two years ago next month. We'd been renting a home for several years. There were lots of benefits to renting our home. One of the big things was that we were close to Brien's family so anytime we needed a quick sitter we would just drop the kiddos off and we were on our way. We also lived out of the city and there was lots of land around us. We could ride the four wheeler all over the place. It made for lots of fun when we'd get home on a pretty day from work/school. When we bought this house, both Brien and I were really in love with it. Slowly but surely this love has faded. We're looking at land for sale around the area. Maybe in the next year or two we'll be able to build our own home! That's a whole other post, though!!!
