Poop in the Pool
Today was our first day back in the pool since the pump went out and it was green and slimy. It's still not completely cleared up, but every other day I've been dousing it with chemicals and it's getting there. It was pretty clear until I stirred it around last week and got the green algae from the sides and such. Anyhow I the kids were really antsy to get back in there, so we did today. We had a fun time 'till someone pooped in the pool. Tyler had gotten out and wanted to go in the house and I told him that he had to stay outside with Shelby and myself. He was upset about it, but eventually got back in the pool. He swam over to me and I was holding on to his bottom when I felt a...lump. I asked him if he pooped and he said "NAAAAWWWW!" I checked and by the time I got a good look he had a bit of a brown oooze coming from his swimming diaper. (THANK GOODNESS FOR THOSE THINGS!!) It was the first time our pool has been pooped in...and hopefully the last! That may be one way to get rid of the algae! *LOL*
