My 24th Saturday Photo Hunt

This Week's Theme: Fake
More Saturday Photo Hunt Submissions

This is the Wal-Mart version of Splenda. We've been using it for about a year in our tea (I KNOW, GASP!). It's a great alternative to sugar Especially since my children LOVE sweet tea. I don't even recognize the difference anymore. In fact, sometimes when I drink real sweet tea, sometimes it's too sweet. I like this FAKE stuff myself! How 'bout you?

Can't remember how I found you as I jumped from blog to blog, waiting for my kids to go to sleep, but I enjoyed your site.

Thanks for the tip about the sweetener; I'll look for it.

I'm going to have to try it now. Looks good, I cannot take unsweetned tea.

I'm not hunting this weekend as I'm off to my grandson's birthday tomorrow and won't have time to be on the computer but I wanted to stop by and say that you did a lovely job with the week's theme of "Fake". I may have to try this out as Splenda is so darned expensive but I use it all the time.

No sugar for me (fake or real). Prefer my tea and coffee without it!! Happy weekend.

That is what I call FAKE!

I am not a big fan of sweet tea, but I know what you mean about too sweet. I can't drink regular root beer or regular Dr. Pepper - it has to be diet!

I am actually participating today! Woo hoo! Happy Saturday!

Good idea ! too much sugar is not very good for the health.

I prefer the fake stuff too. I've never seen a WalMart brand--I'll have to look out for it . Have a great weekend.

I've never tried "fake" sugar. I should, as I need to cut back on the real stuff. Great idea for this week.

Happy Saturday, Biker Betty :)

I haven't seen this at our Walmart, but then I haven't gone to the grocery section very often. We use the Splenda because my mom is diabetic.

I've tried other sweeteners. I used this too.

I thought about using a picture of a sugar substitute but couldn't find any in the house so I had to go in a different direction. Nice choice for The Hunt.

I guess there are too many fake things in our foods!

We only use Splenda but from a health standpoint, sometimes I wonder...
Now, on that joyful note,

Great choice for the theme this week. I have never tried this - only use the real stuff. :-)

Happy Weekend.

How clever. Boy, I had a tough time coming up with something fake. Y'all seem to make it look so easy for the theme. Around here, Equate is the Wal Mart brand. [I THiNK!!]

Happy Hunting.

I've been afraid to try Splenda. If you go to my fake photo today, you'll find out why.

I don't think we have that one here. I like my tea with a bit of sugar too. Thanks for the visit.

I love Splenda, I guess I never realized Wal-Mart had their own version of it, I'll have to look for it the next time I do and give it a try! My entry is HERE if you'd like to visit me.

Great job! Happy Saturday!

Not participating, but wanted to comment. I use sweet and low in everything, so I agree. Once you get used to the fake stuff the real stuff is way to sweet. Have a great weekend. :)

Bessie swears by Splenda, but to me it tastes FAKE
so it's quite apprapro for today's photo hunters!

Great Fake for folks that use sugar!
I quit using when I quit smoking. Thought I wouldn't gain weight *lol*
Happy Hunting!

Don't tell my daughter, but I have used faked sugar in some of the sweet tea I have made here, too. She hasn't even noticed! Excellent choice for fake! And thank you so much for visiting and commenting at Pollywog Creek. I really do appreciate it. Hope your weekend is perfectly delightful! Be blessed!

aaahhhhhhhh, fake sweetener... now if they could come out with a fake chocolate that had no calories, suppressed appetites and tasted as good as the real thing... then that would be a WINNER! hehe!

Great take in the fake theme!

It's true that you get used to the taste of the fake stuff. That's the reason I drink Diet Coke as opposed to Coke- it's the flavor- not that I have to lose 30 pounds or anything.

Pretty good shot for your fake stuff :)
