I did just the same thing with my toddler last week - ate my ice cream and then finsihed his melted mess of one. Oh, the stomach ache I had afterwards. I may just have to let it go to waste next time.
Or bring Tums to the ice cream palor. lol
Oh, yes! Eventually I quit ordering something for myself, knowing I would have plenty of the children's to finish for them! South Florida is probably a bit too far for you to come for a glass of sweet tea, but should you decide to make the trip, I'll be sure to make a fresh gallon! I remember my kids finishing my sweets, not the other way around. They might argue with me, though. Anyway, that's a very "sweet" picture.
