It's up and full...finally!

Well, it's finally up and full (well sort of) of water! The kids and I got in it this afternoon. Shelby loves it. Tyler was not as thrilled about it. The water is still pretty cool, so that may be part of his distaste. It was also a bit windy when we were swimming which made it a bit colder on us. We overfilled it and unfortunately it was not sitting level, so one side is not floating on the top like it should. When we got in and I walked over to the side that was overfilled...the water began to rush out of the pool!!! We lost quite a bit of water out of it and the back yard was quite soaked. The pool is not as deep as what it should be b/c of this. It is a good thing for Shelby, though because she can bearly touch the bottom with it like it is. So, that works out well for her. I guess we'll just deal with it like it is b/c I do not see us emptying it out and fixing it now!! I don't have any pics of us IN the pool 'cause when we swam earlier hubby was not outside with us so he didn't take any photos. Hopefully I'll have some in a day or so, though.

It's hard to get those things level, isn't it? You'll have lots of fun this summer.

your yard looks quite level - but I'm sure it'll all work out!
