My 10th Manic Monday
Rice Krispies Cereal makes this distinct sound when milk is poured over them: Snap, Crackle, & then Pop! In 2002 it was reported that most Americans could name the three elves, but could not name three of the nine sitting Supreme Court Justices. Still, I could not name three of the nine Supreme Court Justices. But, I can tell you that I've never eaten breakfast with any of the three of them either!
According to Wikipedia, here are some translations:
English: "Snap! Crackle! Pop!"
Finnish: "Riks! Raks! Poks!"
French: "Cric! Crac! Croc!"
German: "Knisper! Knasper! Knusper!"
Italian: "Pif! Pof! Paf!"
Swedish: "Piff! Paff! Puff!"
Spanish: "Pim! Pum! Pam!"
Romanian: "Kim! Kan! Kum!"
Japanese: "Snappa! Crakka! Poppa!"

Great minds...I did the same thing. Well, not quite the same thing, but Snap, Crackle and Pop. Great job!

And now I'm sitting here craving a bowl of Rice Krispies - or at least a Rice Krispies treat! Neither of which I am remotely close to having!
You may now call me Poks. Thank you, and have a nice day! :)

The translations make this post so unique. Thanks for sharing those.
