Truth!

I've noticed that it seems like gas went down, slowly but surely. Here it actually almost went less than $2 per gallon. But, now it's back up again to around $2.30 here in Arkansas.

I guess we can really get used to anything. I hardly notice what I'm paying for gas anymore.

In fact, I filled up this morning when I went out and ran my errands. I can't tell you what I paid.

It's about the same here in the south as well. It's beyond my control. I don't worry about it.

I would love to see $2.30 a gallon, it's at $2.69 here in Connecticut again! And I'm sure it's going to go even higher ...

I never thought I'd say this.. but at least it's not $3 like it was last year.

Gas here was somewhere around $1.25 per litre last summer, then gradually went down to as low as 92.9 cents per liter this winter, but is now back up over a dollar again... and tourist season isn't even here yet. That makes it go way up every year.

There have been a few "pump and run" deals happen with such high gas prices, and in one of them a young gas station attendant tried to stop the guy from taking off without paying. The kid died. So now some stations make you pay before you pump all hours of the day, and some make you pay before you pump during certain hours, mostly evening and night.

What a great sign.
