T-Ball 2011 is in the history books!

Tyler has finished his first year of baseball.  T-ball was a blast for the entire family.  He had an awesome coach who worked hard with the boys to help them learn the fundamentals of the game as well as how to bat, catch, etc.  Tyler really enjoyed himself this season on Team Simmons First.  He received a medal and a trophy at the end of the season.  He was very proud.  He has already scoped out a place on his wall where he wants to put a shelf for all of his trophies.  He insists there will be many more baseball trophies!

I think we also have a future baseball player on our hands! Little Emily didn't hesitate to scoop up Tyler's glove and play a little ball herself after the boys finished playing.

She played so well she thought she deserved a medal and trophy!

Needless to say we were a sad bunch as we left the ball fields for the last time this season. Tyler asked, "Mom so it will be a whole 'nother school year until next summer when I get to play ball again?" I replied with a sad heart myself, "Yes it will son, yes it will".  Until then we've got lots of practice time and of course tons of pictures to reminisce on.

Well done to Tyler! I'm sure he will have lots of trophies to display in the future and maybe Emily will too!

I loved it when Mariah played TBall and miss watching it. I grew up playing softball myself, so it really gets me excited to see kids playing.

I can't believe how big Emily is getting! Such a cutie...but then, so are your other 2!

Akelamalu, the thing about Tyler is that when he does something it's not half way. He goes all in. That can be good and bad! LOL So, I am sure you're right, we'll probably have lots of trophies in the future. :)

Mags, It is very exciting to watch them. :) I enjoy it.

Emily has grown so much over the last year. She acts like a 4 year old!! LOL I think they are all cuties too, but I may be a little partial. ;)

Good for Tyler. Him and his dad both look very proud indeed.

Emily is growing like a weed. Good grief you just had her the other day.

Have a terrific day. Hugs. :)
