Looking @ The Sky on Friday

Photobucket

Photobucket
Today I'm pulling from the photo archives because I feel like this photo has relevance to my life as of late.  Things have been difficult for us lately.  Without going into the grueling details, I'm sure of that many of you have had things much worse.  Through lots of prayer and faith in Jesus Christ, and our marriage, we've survived the last few months.  This is not to say that we did not worry and our nails weren't bitten wondering what would happen next, but we have made it through and will continue to do so.  We have our health and we have each other.  The rest of the things are material and we will not take them with us when we leave this world and walk on streets of gold.  So, in my humble opinion they are irrelevant!  Back to the photo:  dark clouds all around, and a sliver of light is peeking through.  Never forget, my friends that there will always be an answer from God.  It may not be as timely as you'd like and it certainly may not be in the form that you wish for it to be, but it will be there.  Have no doubts.  This too, shall pass and the storm will soon be over!

I would say that we are all challenged. Do we see the current issues as problems or blessings? God gives us these I suppose to see if we will turn to him first instead of worrying, as we often do. An applied sense of faith allows us to work through it all. I believe others have it worse...

A gray sky like this can be stormy or foreboding. Yet many shades of gray have an intense beauty, too. Your picture is the one of beauty...

Gorgeous photo! It seems that everyone I know is struggling and the difference seems to be how you handle it. Glad you are keeping focused on the important things. ~Calico Contemplations

Lovely photo! Romans 8:28 - all things work together for good!

Sometimes it doesn't look so good from where we stand, but God sees the big picture and knows exactly what we need to be who he wants us to be. {{HUGS}}
