Weekend Plans
My calendar of events for the next few days looks pretty full! We had a birthday party on Saturday for a nephew who turned two on Friday. Thankfully we went to the store and got him a gift on Thursday afternoon and the toy aisles in Wal-Mart were like a a ghost town so we picked him out a Woody doll quick and easily. Of course I heard a few "I wants" from my kiddos but overall, it was an easy trip. Sunday we're planning on attending The Big Buck Classic, Arkansas' largest Deer Hunting and Outdoor Sports event in Arkansas. Hubby loves to go there to see the deer mounts. I like to see the vendors. There are always lots of cool things to see and they usually have live animals and the big fish aquarium there to keep the kids entertained. There's also a crazy man there that handles rattlesnakes. He'll even let you pet them if you want to! NO THANK YOU, Crazy Man!!! There are lots of things to do in Little Rock, Arkansas. We don't make it there often since it's a little bit of a drive for us. But, when we do go we always have fun. So, what's on your agenda for the weekend?

That sounds like a lot of fun! I'm going to happy hour tonight and then a birthday shindig tomorrow. Need to fit in some workouts and grocery shopping and cleaning somewhere in there. Oh, and lots of sleep!
Nice plans. We're going to go to the source with friends to get crabs and then have a crab bake (with lots of beer, thanks) Saturday. On Sunday, I'll walk it off with a two-hour hike at our local mountain (Mt. Tamalpais) with a bunch of Cub Scouts.
I love snakes. But petting a rattle snake, I am with you on NO THANKS CRAZY MAN!

Pet a rattlesnake?? Why on earth would anyone want to PET a rattlesnake??? I don't think so!!!
