Emily Goes Green

Yup, my little thirteen month old Emily got into the lazy susan and found the food coloring.  She was discovered by Tyler, her big brother.  He came running into the living room yelling that Emily got into the "green eggs".  I immediately knew that he was talking about the green food coloring.  The kids love for me to add it to their scrambled eggs with the inspiration of the Dr Seuss book "Green Eggs & Ham".  I entered the kitchen and sure enough she had.  Her hands were covered and obviously she'd been eating it as well.  I was able to wash most of it off in the bath tub.  A magic eraser took it off the floor with ease.  The food coloring is no longer located in the lazy susan, it is in the window sill where it cannot be reached.  Now if only we could find a cabinet lock to keep that little one out of there. Maybe I can make some cad drawings and get hubby to build them for me!

That's too funny! I have one of my youngest with my makeup all over her - and the bathroom. I think she was about three.
Emily doesn't look too happy!

That reminds me of the time Iggy, my oldest niece, found the baby powder in her bedroom, and decided to have a party... She was COVERED in it!

Remind her of this when she gets older... You'll be sure to get an "Oh mom!" out of it!

:-D)

That's such a cute picture, even if little Emily is not happy about the situation.
