Ruby Tuesday - Princess on Ice

The beautiful red headed Disney Princess, Ariel at a recent Disney on Ice production.  She was beautiful and graceful.  I enjoyed watching her skate as her long red hair flowed behind her.  Unfortunately some of the other skaters were not as graceful as the beautiful princess...
One of the skaters who is supposed to anchor her as she is poised lifted in the air as though she's swimming in the water fell just as they were about to hoist her into the air.  I snapped this photo in hopes of getting Ariel air bound, and got a shot of the poor guy floor bound.  I was lucky enough to catch this shot later on in this show.
I am so glad that he did not drop her!  Prince Eric was holding her one handed as Sebastian the Lobster dances at his side.  If you've never attended a Disney on Ice production, you're really missing out.  It really is beautiful and fascinating entertainment!  Just make sure to be prepared for the prices...they get you coming in and going out!

I've never been to one so I have lived vicariously through your photos!

My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.

Glad they got it together again later in the skate. I'd love to take my kids to Disney on Ice someday.

We haven't been to an ice show in years. What fun and great photos. Happy RT.

I was blessed to see one years ago with my young goddaughter. It was a great time, and they are really talented... never saw anyone fall.

How fun. My mother took me to an ice skating show when I was little. All the costumes and colors was thrilling to watch. I've always remembered that with such great fondness.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hug and lotsa lovies. :)

Never been to one of those - have to take the kids next time they are in town. My liitle boy likes the Mermaid - must be the red hair... or the flashy outfit :)

That's the whole problem with Disney - the prices! They live in a fairy tale world where they think everyone has money!

Glad you enjoyed the show, though, those folks have real talent!

Ariel's red hair and Sebastian the ceab are great for RT, although Nemo's red lips could qualify for Tuesdays as well!

a red=haired Ariel is a perfect subject for RT.

Hi Trish, this is cute. Guess I haven't been to one of those. And it's been a long time since even a 'Holiday on Ice' for us.

I like the lobster best and that doesn't have to do with you picking him for RT either.

Happy RT. I am running late but my RT has a picture of my youngest daughter who is expeting so you might want to come see. Her due date is July 31st but we are told to expect even a couple of weeks earlier.

Be glad you came to Houston when you did, it is in the upper 90's and will be until at least the middle of next week.

Forgot to say, this will be Karen's first. BP is her step-daughter who is twelve.

Have a nice day and stay cool. :-)
