Camera Critters - Life in Arkansas

I shot this photo two weekends ago in Hector, Arkansas when we were on a four wheeler trip. This beautiful butterfly was going about it's business and I happened to have my Canon in hand and I was able to snap it . I was so thankful that we got to spend the weekend exploring the countryside. I love being outdoors and fortunately we live in a state that makes that possible because Arkansas has beautiful country.  I love enjoying the wonders of nature in Arkansas! I wouldn't have it any other way!

One of the states I've yet to visit but I've come close. And a sharp pic you've taken there.

Beautiful butterfly capture! Ya know how I luv Camera Critters ... so much so that I've participated three times this week. Just call me cRaZy. I've featured Molly at Happily Retired Gal and Ms Kitty at my 'other' blog ... and the three of us enjoying a lazy Sunday morning at Small Reflections … just because.
Hugs and blessings,

I use a canon too. But haven't managed to snag a beautiful shot of a butterfly!

Nice closeup! I'm surprised it stayed still long enough for you to get this photo.
