Happy Mother's Day - Camera Critters
This beautiful seahorse is a mother that I do not envy. I can see the exhaustion in her posture. The poor thing. I think she needs a night out on the shell. Any volunteers for pony sitters?

Oh Wow CWM those are the most awesome shots I have seen to date! Those baby seahorses are so cute! So is mum. Isn't the sea horse the only animal where the male carries the eggs and is pregnant? I think so. Guess mum takes over from there and dad just chills!

And yep, Thumbelina is right - seahorses are one of the few 'exceptions' of the animal kingdom, where the hubby does all the work! Hope that was true at YOUR house today, too!
