Looking at the Sky on Friday

The weather last Sunday was beautiful. We took the opportunity to spend time with the kids by riding horses. In this photo, Shelby and I are riding "Blackie". Shelby was a bit warm from wearing a borrowed baseball cap to keep the sun out of her face. She'd taken it off and it was flopping in the wind as we rode. The skies were beautiful. I remembed mentioning to my husband as we rode and admired the beautiful countryside around us that there are many people in this world who never get to see such wonders. We're lucky indeed!! It made me want to hop park an rv right there and never leave.

The perfect fair-weather sky is the perfect backdrop to the equine riders. Blackie is wise and gentle, catering to the riders comfort and safety. No bucking bronco here, just a family friendly steed content with suburban riders. Agreed, setting up the base camp here is how you can truly relax. Nice!

I look forward to Fridays just because of the sky photos! Thanks, Tisha - for giving us a place to play together on Fridays with no muss and no fuss :)

I love this picture and all that comes with it.

We live in an area where horseback riding is pretty readily available but I'm kinda afraid of horses. I'd love to see my kids on one though!!

Have a wonderful weekend!

I know there are reasons, but I would much rather live in the "boonies" than any city! City life is just NOT for me. I can almost smell the clean air...
This is such a sweet photo.

I used to go horseback riding with my son years and years (too many!) ago. Some of my fondest memories. We rode on Staten Island, NY and had to cross a busy street. One time the cars were backed up and I remember my son yelling out - "This horse needs a horn cause these people ain't moving!" Good Times!

Beautiful photo Tisha.

You're lucky in that you live near one of the best Airstream dealers in the nation. Go get yourselves one!
