Contrails are like plumes of clouds - they are after all collections of water vapor from the jet engines. Featherlike and striking, even if mo more that mere wisps of water vapor in the sky. I watch them often and wonder where the jet is from/to...
I wish I were in the plane that left those tails... on my way to visit my dad... or on my way to warmer places :-)
Seems like a I see a 'crescent moon' below the trail across this very BLUE sky ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
Very cool! I'll be leaving behind a few contrails myself the end of this month on my way to Vegas!
I will be back by tomorrow to leave a link but I wanted to pop in while I was making my rounds!
You know, we don't see those as much here...but, of course I know them well from my 22 years in Arkansas. :)
I also love looking at the "trails". I've actually have some photos of it in my stash. Anyway, my entry is up. Happy Friday!
Aw, sweet little baby moon! Tisha, can you believe it's Friday again? Me neither, but it's most welcome! :)
TGIF!

tomorrow will be busy...so I came in early...
I always wonder where those trails are going....
hi Tisha! I'm back again, love your blue sky picture, lovely...
Some people hate the trails, but I think they add interest to the sky. I always love the moon - any time!
I hardly see those now where I live. I miss seeing them. Neat that the moon is in the shot!
Our photos are framed in a very similar way! The focus is a bit different though. Love the baby moon!
Ah! The baby moon! I was looking at jet trails just yesterday, wondering if I should drag myself into the house for the camera.
Love this meme, Tish!
~~~Blessings~~~
lol. looks like u had the same idea as me this week mate!
My nephew is in the sky making some contrails as I type. On his way back from Kawaii. I'm thinking he'd rather not be.
Neat Crescent Moon capture, Tisha! I love finding surprises like that when I upload photos!
It's Finally Friday! Whew. Have a wonderful weekend!
YAY! It's FRIDAY!!!!!
lovely--those trais make me happy when I see them b/c i think of traveling!
Great picture. I never new they were called con trails.
Interesting trails in the sky. Great shot.
Tisha, the building you ask about is just an ordinary apartment building in the Bronx probably built 50 - 60 years ago! :)
A sliver of a moon and big fluffy trails make for a lovely shot!
Very cool photo! I love when the moon shows up in daylight.
Tabbikat's Thoughts
Most of the time, our skies are filled with sunshine and no clouds. Near sunset, we get the western sky dotted with F-16s going back to roost at the Air Force base.
Well lookie there! There's the moon. Great shot today! Mine's up and I plan on visiting more today.
Very cool photo, Tisha! I didn't see the moon at first.
My husband was first this week, but I'm 29 and that's my LUCKY number! Woo hoo!!
Enjoy your weekend.
I love "tails" too and take pictures of them all the time. As for the moon in the daylight sky - magical. :)
Mine's up too.
I love plane trails. I have no idea why they are so fascinating to me, but they are. It is great that you caught the moon in the middle too.
There's another trail perpendicular to the very clear tail!
Great pic Tish!
And I love its blue!
xoxoxo
Great shot! The trails are looking amazing.It looks like two planes crossed each other.
