Ruby Tuesday
Today's Ruby Tuesday photo is the tricycle that my mom bought Shelby for her first birthday. I don't think that she has ever been on it. She got a battery powered four wheeler on the same birthday, so the little red tricycle played second fiddle. Along came Tyler and he loves this thing! He plays with it all the time. In fact, he loves to just push it around, like he's doing in this photo. So, Shelby's first tricycle was also Tyler's first and he's logged many more miles on it than she has. I wonder what it will be like when Emily gets old enough to ride?To see more Ruby Tuesday participants, click the graphic above to take you over to Mary's place.

I remember the fun I had when I could ride a tricycle. Until today I didn't want to learn to ride the bicycle. :)
I love cycling - one of my favorite activities growing up.
Do you remember the first time you stood on the back with your hands on the handlebars and just coasted down the sidewalk? Great photo.
Happy RT.
Cute! If he's all-boy the trike might not make it to baby #3 by the time he's finished flying off of make-shift ramps and attempting to launch it to the moon! Gotta love that creative energy, right?
How cute....looks like you adore red! My mom and dad live in Hardy, AR
My kids would certainly love to have one of those!
Great pic of him!

A red tricycle. The perfect color for any kid, ad he is enjoying something that any three-year old (in my day, anyway)would be happy to ride one of these. And if it had streamers attached to the handlebar grips, it would be perfect (again, my late 1950s-early 1960s memories are reappearing!)
I'm so glad the tricycle is getting used, he looks very serious about his work
he's a cutie
Some family stories will be told about the little RED tricycle... Happy Ruby Tuesday, Tisha! :)
I can remember the tricycles that we had as kids and it seemed that they were always red then, too. Funny how some things change no matter how many years go by!
I love that pic. There's an old red tricycle at hubby's childhood home that all the kids and grandkids used...
I'm visiting belatedly and enjoyed learning the history of Tyler in his red shirt enjoying that old red tricycle of Shelby's ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
