Can You Hear This Sound?

Train Horns
I was told by some teenagers who will remain nameless that they use this signal on their cell phones in school so that the teachers cannot hear their phones signaling. Very clever. I can hear the sound. I am 31. Listen to it, leave your age and whether or not you can hear it in the form of a comment. I'm curious to find out the cut off age.

You don't need to know my age - it is significantly greater than yours - and I could not hear it. My 17 year old says her ears are now ringing, though because I kept turning up the volume! =)

I am 25 (26 in May) and I heard it plain as day. My BF who was in the room heard it loud and clear too. And my volume wasn't that loud lol.

I'll have to find a computer with audio before I could tell you. Doesn't that just ooze "no-way-in-hell-will-she-hear=it" to you?

Nope, couldn't hear a thing even when I turned it all the way up and you know how old I am!

I had Amanda come in and listen to it and she said it was so loud that it hurt her ears (I had the volume all the way up!). I still couldn't hear a darned thing!

Nope. Couldn't hear it. I'll have to ask my teenage boys to listen to it when they get home today.

Though, that might give them ideas ... hhmmm ...

I don't know whether it was working or not, or maybe I just couldn't hear it. :(

I heard it and am 37. My 84 year old grandmother was in the room with me and also heard it, so I do not know about the age thing.

I am 39 and I heard it loud and clear. In fact I had to turn my speakers on and I turned them up hoping to hear it and could not turn them down fast enough. I will have to have my mother listen later.

I heard it,and I am 74 years old. Maybe the folks who cannot hear it belong to the generation that listened to very loud music. They are correct in their analysis that it is a very irritating sound.

I am 29 soon to be 30 and I can hear it, but my co worker is 56 and she can not hear it!! It would drive me nuts if I had to listen to that all the time!
