Ruby Tuesday - A Letter To The Postman

Dear Mr Postman,

I received a piece of mail today, three days later than I had expected it. You probably knew that, though didn't you?! I have a sneaky suspicion that you might have kept it in your mail truck over the weekend to entertain yourself. You see, I subscribed to Netflix because I love the convenience of getting online, clicking on the movies I would love to enjoy, and then waiting for you to deliver them to me. I was expecting two movies to arrive in my box last week, instead only one arrived and sat all alone on the tv stand and the other...well, it arrived just a bit late. Mr Postman, I hope that my popcorn of the month arrives next week in a timely manner and unpopped as I like to indulge in popcorn while I enjoy a good movie.

Next time if you would like to take home my mail for the weekend, feel free to grab a bill or hubby's Cabella's Magazine. I won't tell him what happened to it, I promise.

Thank you for your dedication (ya know the rain, sleet, or snow thing),
Your friendly neighborhood Netflix Customer

Don't you love when you get that Ooops note from the post office?

I use to belong to Netflix, but I felt pressure to always have movies pre-selected in my queue. Unfortunately, there are rarely any movies I wanted to see.

That stinks. The mail is being used less and less thanks to E-Mail, yet it seems to be slower, and I just heard it is in the red. Sad...

On a plus, Netflix lets you stream video straight to your computer or TV now. So you can sneak it bast your mail person. Unless they are hacking your internet connection too. You never know. They do get disgruntled...

There was a news story over the weekend that a lady got a graduation invitation in the mail...finally. The graduation was in 1987.

The post office out here is constantly putting the wrong mail in our box, including certified letters and whatnot. I would assume they're also putting our mail in the wrong box. Sometimes I think nobody can do anything right out here ...

I often wonder if my NetFlix movies are going to make it BACK to the company or if someone is going to come along and borrow them off of the mailbox while they're waiting to be picked up!

Didn't I just hear on the news that the Postmaster General got a huge raise? I wish I had paid closer attention. I'll have to go look it up.

Your mail person is a movie thief, huh? Yikes.

Have a Happy Ruby Tuesday.

I TOTALLY love Netflix and I'm glad this never happened with any of our movies yet. I did have THREE catalogs that came in shreds in the last month, luckily junk mail but nonetheless...only one of them had a "we care" note on it!

At least it arrived! Red is always a welcome color in the mail, it gets your attention...
