Wii Fit
I splurged yesterday. I stopped by the video game store on the way home and looked around a bit. I asked the salesman if they had any Wii Fits and he informed me that he did, so I am now a proud owner. I didn't get to spend much time on it yesterday, but the body analysis wasn't pretty. Since I have Emily with me all day at the office I can't really join a gym right now, so I thought this was a great temporary alternative. I'm pretty excited about it.

OMG! This is exactly what I was thinking when I saw your kids playing it! I didn't know they already made one! I may have to get this for myself! :)
I'm thinking more and more that I need to get one of these.
I was going to ask one for one of these for my birthday in July, but I'm not sure I'll be able to wait that long...
A friend of mine has one and loves it....
HAve fun with it. My son called after he did his analysis and said his little Wii person got "chubby" after he filled in his info! I'd be afraid to see what mine would look like...
I'm so jealous!LOL!
Way to go girl! ;)

Barb, So far I'm lovin' mine!!!
DS, it's worth the $$$, get it I say.
imadramamamma, I was the same way! Couldn't wait. :)
Lois, I've only heard good things about them so far.
Debbie, my avatar also turned chunky. But, it's okay...I'm going to unchunk her very quickly. ;)
Sandra, you're more than welcome to hop on a plane and head on over. I'll letcha play, and you can sleep on the couch for a while. ;)
Isn't it fun??? My daughter got one and we've all been on it! My avatar is much younger than my actual age (the thing must be wrong!) as was hubman's. The funny thing is that my daughter and her boyfriend were all much older. Ha, did we have smiles on our faces!!!
When we can we're gonna get one - the whole system.
~~~Blessings~~~
Gracie, the first time I played it my Wii fit age was 11 years older than my actual age. When I played today, it was two years younger than my actual age. The most disturbing thing to me was that when it did my BMI, I plumped out like the Pilsbury dough boy! *LOL*
I must admit I don't know much about the Wii, but have heard a bit here and there, and I want one. Maybe more like NEED one. Gotta find a way... gotta find a way... gotta (you get the idea). Enjoy, and keep us updated on how things go.
I want one of these. I bought us a family present for Xmas.... the Wii..... but it's desperately (I mean *I'M*) needing the Wii Fit. Is it hard? Is it like a good workout? Enjoy it! :)
Jackie, I am assuming that the level of difficulty depends on your level of fitness. For me, some tasks are extremely difficult. The balancing tasks are quite hard for me, but the hula hooping is fairly easy for me while my 6 year old has a tough time with it. So, I guess that everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. I will tell you this, though I've had two days on it and I do have some sore muscles. It's been over a year since I've done any sort of work out, so the sore muscles are to be expected I suppose. Bring it on, baby!!! I wanna be fit. :)
I'm so jealous...we can't find one here...>I go every week....sigh....I hear it is awesome though....
Noah's Mommy, I looked at Amazon.com. I know they have them there, but they were more than what I paid for it here at home. So, I was glad I found one here. :)
I hope ya find one. They are worth it.
