I'm Back...ramblings

I wanted to take the time to say thank you to everyone who has stopped by while I've been out of commission. My power cord to my lap top was frayed and finally completely broke in two. I ordered a new one and I could not bring myself to pay more for overnight shipping than I paid for the product, so I have been without internet at home for over a week.

Actually, it was nice spending some quality time with my family. I also finished the Twilight book and had to start on the next book in the series. I gotta say that I was really impressed by the first one and shocked that I liked it so much. I'm not as impressed with the second one thus far. I'm only a hundred or so pages into it so I guess I can't judge it just yet. I will say that with the first one, I had a hard time putting it down. This one hasn't captivated my attention as much.

We're all ready for Christmas. The kiddos are super excited. I've got lots of pictures to post, over a week with a new camera right here at the holidays...just be ready!

Thanks to everyone who posted their sky photo on Friday. I haven't been over to look yet, but I WILL I promise. I appreciate everyone's support.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

We missed you...

I won't be rushing out to get the third or fourth books, either... They were okay, but not my cup of tea.

I couldn't get into Book2 of Twilight series... gave up, finally, and I usually don't give up on books... but just not the same without Edward.
Don't forget to tell us about Tyler & Santa's Magic Key after Santa uses it tonight!
MERRY CHRISTMAS to you
& your family!

Merry Christmas to you, too. (And may I just say that I, too, was surprised that I liked Twilight so much. Didn't like the others, tho. But lots of people did, so don't go on what I say.)

We all love Twilight!!!! My middle daughter finished Twilight in the last week or so and loved it!! They're all good, but I do think that the first is still my fave!

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!!

Welcome back, Tisha!

I had a hard time getting into Book Two also - it was NOT my favorite of the series but it gets better - sort of - near the end! Slog your way through and I'm sure you'll find you like Book Three much better!

I believe I am taking Jamie and Cate to go see "Twilight" tomorrow at the movies. Jamie hasn't seen it, Cate loved Jasper, and even though I wasn't impressed, I can tolerate a second viewing!

Hope your Christmas was merry and bright!!

I'm catching up...so I didn't realize you were out of commission.

I too was shocked I enjoyed Twilight (I only even began because my daughter strongly suggested I read them)

my humble advise...Read the whole series.
