Yes, Lori this was taken in my front yard. I heard the little bugger out there pecking away and spotted him so I grabbed the camera and got this shot. When zoomed in on the shot, I realized that he'd made LOTS of holes in that poor tree!

We have pileated woodpeckers here in Florida, but they are extremely shy and the minute you fire up the camera, they become extremely elusive!
