...And They're Off!

Today is the big day! Shelby will race in the Kindergarten box car derby at her school. She was very excited upon the completion (FINALLY) of her car. Her main concern is that she will go around the track the wrong way. I assured her that she will know the right way to go. They will have to make three pit stops. 1st stop, clean your windshields (wipe face). 2nd stop, check tires (make sure shoes are tied). 3rd stop, fill up (get a drink). It should be lots of fun to watch, although the weather is a bit cool this morning. So, are you doing anything THIS fun today?!

I had this all wrong...we did "soap box derby" cars....little things that ran by themselves along a specially made track.
