From Vegas to Mommyhood

Many of my long-time readers will remember when I first started doing paid posts that I was saving up for hubby and I to take Vegas vacations. We were planning on meeting up with a few other bloggers and painting the town red. I'm sure it would have been hard to keep the "What Happens In Vegas Stays In Vegas" oath with a bunch of bloggers, right?!

Well, as it turns out my Vegas Vacation money is being spent on this unexpected surprise that is jabbing her little foot right in my ribs as we speak. In December we discovered that in mid-September, which is when the original trip was planned, we would have a new addition to our family. We are expecting our third child at the end of August and I could not be more anxious to meet her. Eventhough our Vegas vacation has been put on hold, I am excited about the new adventures that await our family.

I hope my blogging buddies will have fun on their September get-away eventhough it has been moved from Sin City to the beach. I you guys and I will be with you in spirit!!!

As fun as Vegas sounds, I think spending the money on your new little girl is more fun! :)

Stella, I agree! We're all getting very excited now. :)

Sandy, you are SO right. That'll make it more fun too (after the kids are older).

I hope they have tons of fun on their trip. Having a new little one is tons of fun too. I'll be enjoying the new baby and their trip as well. Big hug. :)

As enjoyable as the trip would have been you have something just as exciting about to arrive and I know you are going to love that too.

Having been to Vegas and had children I can say that, in my opinion, having kids is WAAAAAY better.

Awwww...I'm sorry that you will be missing your trip and meeting up with friends - but baby girls are much more delightful, Tish. (((Hugs)))
