MM Headquarters ~ Previous MMs
Over
We got a new pool Saturday. The one we had last year had the blow up ring around the top and you just inflate it and fill with water. It was a beautiful concept 'till we got ready to take it down and then it was impossible to take it down and let it dry so that we could put it away for the winter. It also got a hole in the ring sometime along the way. We just decided to get one with the metal poles around it so that we could leave it up year round. The installation wasn't all that bad. My husband and his father worked on it and we began to fill it around 4PM on Saturday afternoon. The kids had been waiting ALL day for the pool to be erected so that they could go for a dip. We could not make them understand that it would probably take at least one whole day to fill it. Their cousins were over and we let them strip down to their underwear and all of the kiddos got in while the pool was filling. The pool is
OVER all of the kid's heads considering it is 4.5 feet tall. They had a great time slipping and sliding on the bottom and the great thing for me is that I didn't have to bend
OVER to smooth out the bottom to get the wrinkles out. They took care of that for me! Here are a few highlights of the day.

How cool. I love it. Hopefully it will warm up here this coming week. It has been a bit cold. Your kids are so adorable, just like their mommy. Have a great MM Tisha. :)

We have the pool that you inflate the ring and put water in it. My kids love it, and hubby and I get in at night after the kids are in bed.
Wonderful pictures and the children are going to have an absolute ball.
Very cool Tisha! It'll help you and the baby out this summer for sure. I hope soaking in the cool water makes your back feel better.
Have fun!!!
I remember having a pool at my grandparents' house when I was a kid.
It made the summer months more bearable!
I hate hot weather!
That is going to be great for cooling down in the heat! You all have fun!!
Wow, Tisha!! You just took me back abour 40 years to when my Dad put our pool up for the summer! Such fun, family time! You want to know something? I have more fond memories of the project of putting it up and maintaining it then I do of using it!
Very cool Manic Monday!
Now that looks like fun. Is it as big as it looks in the picture?
Packing my kids bags and suits right now and sending them over. LOL
That looks like a very nice pool, and weren't the kids ever so helpful.
We can't fit one on the postage stamp yard we share with the neighbor so will have to hope they get the city pool, which is but 2 blocks away repaired and opened since we have already hit the eighties a few times in May, which is a bit odd for WI.
Gee, Tisha, I'd be right there along with the kids (and you) inside the pool! Great, big pool - I'll be over for the summer everyday! :D
Hey darling I have something waiting for you at my blog.
way cool, or cold, or fun........
Cool! I would love to have a pool in my garden but I don't have mcuh space for a pool. :(
Thanks for your message and prayers for my son's recovery. My family and I are grateful.
Happy MM Tisha!
Oh this pool looks wonderful! The kids were having a grand ole time! How sweet. Oh how I wish we had a pool. I swell so badly with this darn RA in the summer a pool would be perfect to get some relief. Instead I sit in air conditioning with frozen peas on my ankles! Geesh! ;-) Enjoy that pool, it will sure give you and your family great comfort in the coming months!
Hugs,
Kimmie
The sure look to be having fun! I wish it was warm enough here to have a pool outside!
That looks soooo much fun!
Looks like everyone had plenty of fun while the pool was filling!
That looks like so much fun! And don't you look cute sitting in your pool!
I will be over this weekend, and I'm bringing my swimsuit! :-)
Oohhh, I want one! But it really doesn't get that hot here. You just don't see that many backyard pools.
Oh what fun! We are ready for the pool here - it's hitting 95 or more every afternoon now. Gotta be in the pool or in the A/C!
I have been trying to decide on which kind of pool to buy this year. The kids really want one. When we lived in Arizona there was a pool and clubhouse in the subdivision so we never needed one.
These pictures are GREAT!! And how much FUN is that to get to play in the pool while it's filling up. I love it!!!!
wow! I love the pool. I am sure the kids enjoyed. My little Chesca also loves to dip in the pool. She enjoys being in the water.
oh wow! that looks so refreshing!
