Manic Monday - Night
Night
I tried to find a comfy position,
But, this baby girl in my belly just would not let me.
Beside me lay a snug two year old with his feet on my head.
At this very moment, I wondered why he was not in his own bed.
My back aches, my legs are cramping and I can't get any rest.
At 2 AM I am wondering if the recliner is not best.
Eventually I'm fast asleep dreaming of the days ahead.
Only to be awakened at 7 AM when I should have already been out of bed!!
I jumped up screaming because I am running behind.
There are a thousand and one things I need to do and they're all on my mind.
It's just another Manic Monday morning with no sleep for this tired Mom.
I am looking for some coffee and trying to stay calm.
I wonder how the day will go when it has started out this way.
I try to keep a positive outlook but it's really hard to say.
Keep your fingers crossed for me because the day has just begun.
Now, I'm in a hurry and this post is late so now I must run!!!

Aw..I remember nights like that. Hang in there!
Now that's a great Mom's Poem!
Oh man... go for the recliner. It's hard enough to sleep that far along without a morning like that to face the next day. I hope you got more leep tonight.
Happy MM to you too little Momma. Hope everything is going well with the baby girl and the other one who likes to put his feet on your head. Well rhymed too.
haha great little poem, and very well said :)
Great poem, Tisha! How did you have time to write it? Just Great! :)
I loved being pregnant.. well with the exception of the back aches, leg cramping, swollen feet, morning sickness, baby putting their feet in my ribs...
oh never mind...
I've missed you too sweetie... it won't be long now..
