Mad Woman?!

While in the checkout line at my local hardware store I overheard one man say to another, "My wife has been after me to paint our shed. But I let it go for so long she got mad and did it herself." His friend nodded. "I like women who get mad like that."

Show of hands (by comment) of my women readers who have done this exact thing! (HAND RAISED). I take the trash out A LOT because I just get mad because hubby lets it pile up. Before the "hate" comments stack up from my male readers, it's the only "chore" that he has in the house.

There are so many things that we need to get done around our house that it's not even funny. I guess I'll have to "get mad" enough to get them done. We need to get a nursery ready for this new baby which entails moving lots of things from the current room to his shop and office. Unfortunately I have to depend on him to do it since they are heavy things and I can't do it. He'd rather focus on things that can wait, like exterior shutters.

I prefer not to even talk about it. Seems the swinging dicks in the house don't do nothing but work their 8 or 10 hours and then nothing else the other 14 hours of the day. Damn Men. Us women on the other hand it's a miracle if we aren't doing something domestic and or working all of the time... Seems I talked about it, didn't I?

It's only the men who need a mama I've found. Just saying. I don't have that problem. My hubby does way more than I do. I so feel for you.

My ex-husband told me once that he wasn't going to do any housework or yard work. He never even put his dirty laundry in the hamper. His comment was, "Why do you think I married you?"

I got him back once. I left the pile of underwear on his side of the bed and just when he got to the last set in the drawer I folded all the dirty underwear and put it back in his drawer. Wow, was he mad. He went to J.C. Penney's and bought new underwear so he could go to work. Bwahahahahaha. It didn't help though, but it made me feel good for a minute. Yep. I kicked him to the curb. What an ass.

I feel for you sweetie. He should be helping more with you being pregnant and all. Big hug honey. :)

That's SO the way it is around here! I tried letting stuff just pile up instead of doing it myself but finally I couldn't stand it anymore and ended up doing it myself anyway. One time I swore I was NOT going to put the new toilet paper on the roll.....we had about 10 empty rolls lined up along the wall in the bathroom, plus the original empty one on the roll! How sad is that!
