Holy Smokes!!!

This photo, supplied by the Forsyth Medical Center, shows parents Joey, left, and Erin Maynard holding twins Abigail Rose ,left, 12 pounds, 3 oz. and Sean William, 10 pounds, 14 oz., at the Forsyth Medical Center in Winston -Salem,N.C. They aren't America's heaviest newborn twins on record, but they certainly tip the scales: Sean William Maynard and Abigail Rose Maynard weighed in at a combined weight of 23 pounds and 1 ounce at delivery this week, the hospital announced Friday, June 20, 2008. story source

I'm just glad it was her and not me! I don't know if I'd want one baby weighing in at a whopping 10 or 12lbs, much less two! *sigh*

HOH BOY! My third child was over 10pounds. :-p The labor was surprisingly easy, much easier than with #1. Problem was, he got stuck on the way out! The doctor was going to break his collarbone but we prayed and the baby was born. The doctor called it a miracle! Cool, huh!

Could you imagine?!?!?

The day before I delivered my first there was a woman in Oregon who gave birth to an 18 pound baby boy! I had horrible nightmares that it would be me!!

Wow....
My first son was 11lb 13oz and my second son was 9lb 7oz.....
I just shudder at the thought of carrying both at the same time, one at a time was hard enough...

Let me just say that....as the father to these two wonderful babies (and their two-year-old brother who was 10 lbs. 7oz. himself....), I could not be prouder of my wife. God bless......-joey maynard
