Tyler's Terrible Twos

My 2 year old is in the full fledged "terrible two" stage!!! He responds with everything you say to him with a very stern "NO"! It is quite aggravating to say the least. It is 8:30 at night and he is laying in the floor with his sister's pink water boots on his feet and baseball pajamas kicking and screaming that he wants candy. He's been doing it for about five minutes now. I am just hoping that before I end up in drug rehab he'll stop. Now, he's yelling that we keep on saying no and that makes him sad and he has to cry when he's sad! Oh, the poor dear.

I did hear a funny conversation transpire between he and his father earlier, though. He'd told Brien No when he was told to do something. Brien then asked him later if he was going to tell him No next time he told him to do something. Tyler had a puzzled look on his face and responded...No. *LOL* I laughed and asked him if it was a trick question.

I so remember honey. I do think Brien asked a trick question though. :)

Ha! Tell him that YOU get sad when he keeps saying NO and you'll have to cry when you are sad, too!

Two is tough. With my kids, two wasn't so bad, but THREE was tough! I hope Tyler gets better at three and not worse!

I don't miss the Terrible Twos, but I'm hating the Exasperating Eights.

Something to look forward to, Hunter is 17 months old and every once in a while he shows me what we may be heading into with 2 quickly approaching.

I would have loved to see a pic of him in the pink boots...
