Oh NO!
In my line of work when I deal with customers we often speak of very personal things in our lives. When people are building a house, it is often a stressful time in their life. This leads them to open up to me. Today I spoke with a mother who has her share of stress already and now they are building a house on top of it. She had two daughters, ages 7 & 8 as well as an 18 month old son. Her son had a heart condition. She did not go into the details of his condition but said that she did not work because she had to stay home with him. We talked a bit and discovered that we use the same OBGYN. She informed me that she was due in September with her fourth child. The kicker to this story is that she had her tubes tied (by the same doctor that I use) after baby #3 because he was a surprise. Now, she has been blessed with another surprise against all odds! I was stunned. I knew there was a chance but never really knew that it had happened to anyone! Now I'm worried that I should blindfold hubby and tell him we're going for a "drive" and drop him off at a clinic to get cut and snipped. I need to take the dog anyhow. I could take care of them both in one trip!
So, do you know someone that has had this same fate after a tubal ligation?

No I don't know anyone that got pregnant after a tubal. But, I know someone currently that got pregnant after her husband got the snip. They have 3 boys and always wanted a girl. Now a girl is on the way. Ain't life funny that way!
Nope I don't know anyone that has happened to. It's only something I've heard of on TV till now.
Never heard of that, either.
Maybe your vet has a two-for-one special?
:)
yup, that's what i'd do, drop 'em both off and pick 'em up later!

Oh Goodness...that poor lady! I have never know anyone that had that happen to them either. What a shock! I say take them both to the vet also! LOL! ;-)

Heard stories but never anyone personally. Oh and lets hope I never post that story since I had mine done two years ago.
on another note
I made something to help with dropping for Entrecard. I thought you might be interested.
Since I love your blog already I put you on the list already. I hope you don't mind. Come over and check it out.
If you know anyone else who should be added to the list. Give them a heads up. I would love to add more blogs.
I've heard it before...I guess you can't really predict what's going to happen.
I've heard it is possible but most everyone I know had the opposite happen and ended up having a hysterectomy within 10 years of the tubal, myself included.
I would have preferred the blessing of a baby.
I tell you my husband says he wishes he would have just had the V.
I don't know of anyone that's happened to but I'd get him 'done' just to be on the safe side! :)
I should of posted this earlier. I believe it is more likely to have "accidents" after a snip than a tubal.
I know tubals, they cut and burn. So thats double the protection.
There's only one thing each month to block not millions each time. If you get my drift.
Never heard of that, Tisha. But a vasectomy is the best thing to get (tell hubby, sorry!) It's simple, non-invasive (hubby won't think so!) Forget the tubal ligation!
I have heard of accidents after the man was snipped, but not the woman. Yikes...
