This was a strip mall. AP photographer Gary C. Knapp captured the scene today as firefighters and rescue workers picked through the debris that was left behind one day after a tornado tore through Suffolk, Va.

The latest story says more than 200 people were injured and 140 buildings were damaged or destroyed.

Wow...that is one frightening scene. Tornado's are rare around my neck of the country, but once in a great while we will have a small one, that dosn't really cause much damage. Thanks for sharing this story Tisha.
Hugs,
Kimmie

Hey Crazy Working Mom!

It was so nice to hear from you the other day. I haven't done WW in a while and had not bookmarked my fav sites that I met on WW.

But I have now, so I'll get to stop by more.

The Tornado was awful, I'm glad that no one was killed.
