Baby Stuff
Since we found out that we're having a little girl last Wednesday, I went on a bit of a shopping excursion this past weekend. Shelby (my 5 year old daughter) and myself had a wonderful time shopping for "baby sister". We began looking for a baby book so that we could begin to put her information in it and have her ultrasound pictures tucked safely away. I quickly remembered how fun it is to shop for little girl things. We found a baby book, and we absolutely could not pass up the matching photo brag book. Then we mozied along and found the most adorable bedding set. We were terrified that if we didn't buy it up then that some other lucky little girls would end up with the supply they had and we'd have to settle on to a different style. Thankfully we got Dad on board quickly and we bought the bedding set and some extra sheets as well as some matching receiving blankets. Here it is:
Shelby and I also looked at some baby clothes. We oooohhhed and aaahhhhed over several things but ultimately decided to wait a bit longer before we begin to buy clothes just so we'll know a bit more about her size. But, we both decided that it's going to be great fun shopping for baby sister! Dad said that's what he was afraid of!

Come on now Trish, where's the baseball glove and fishing pole? Girls can do that too. ;-)
I love the name Emma, too bad my DH doesn't :P How fun to shop for girl stuff, I want a girl too!
I sympathize with Dad lol.
Emma Grace sounds like a awesome name!! :D
Hi Trish,
Thank You for visiting my blog tonight.
My Grandmother's name was Emma and I just love it, adding the Grace for a middle name just makes it perfect. Olde fashioned names are coming back and that makes me so happy. Unfortunately, I am beyond my baby bearing years or I would have definately named a second little girl Emma. I named my 23 year old Gina Marie.
It sounds like you have a beautiful family. Lets keep in touch okay. I would love to hear how the rest of your pregnancy is going for the rest of the duration. Many Blessings to you and your family.
Smiles,
Kimmie
Those are lovely things. Pink has always been one of my favorite colors. I'm glad you and Shelby had a wonderful time shopping.

Emma is a good name. I like Emily too. There's the cutest little girl down the street named Emily. She calls us grandma and grandpa. I think I'm a bit biased. Have a great day Tisha. :)
After 4 grandsons I so enjoyed buying girlie things when our grandaughter arrived. :)
Can I call her Emmy?
Emma Grace is a beautiful name. I love the "pink stuff" and have enjoyed buying way to much of it for our grandaughter (our first). Our other daughter is having a boy in June so I am now having the fun of buying little blue things too!
Emma Grace is a lovely name.

Beautiful girlie things!!! How fun to shop for a little girl!!
Cute bedset! And I love the name Emma.
Love the bedding set, I need to get a new set for my little kiddo who is growing way too fast.
What kind of truck do you have? I have a four door Dodge Ram 1500. I take the kids in that and it works out fine. We only do trips round town, school... funny thing is because of gas prices, I drive the truck, my Hubby has the minivan...he commutes about an hour each way. I only have one day and a 10 minute ride with all four children, so the oldest sits in front. I don't like doing that, but it is such a quiet road and not that far that I put up with it. Eventually this will change and I will have the van back, till then I enjoy pretending to be the cowgirl livin in town. :)
Congrats on the baby girl, that is such wonderful news, you're going to have so much fun with all that pink! Love it!
