What prize do you choose?

Do you eat oysters? I've personally never eaten one. I have been at the same table as others who enjoyed the delicacy but the thought of something slimy sliding down my throat just did not appeal to me. I was afraid to try it. Yes, I admit that I was afraid that I might put it in my mouth and it wouldn't make it down or worse that it would make it down but it wouldn't stay there. So, I have always avoided them and you know there are risks to eating raw or undercooked oysters I have always heard that Gulf oysters are the best. But, as I've said before I've never had the nerve to try them. There is a very good website to be oyster aware and check out some great recipes if you are willing to give them a try.

I have thought before about the beautiful treasures hidden inside the shell of an oyster. Pearls are an amazing creation. But, what if by chance something other than a pearl could come from an oyster?! What if, for instance you could open an oyster and just find random things inside? Chocolate would be a good thing. You know pregnant women LOVE chocolate. ;) If you could open an oyster to find a "prize" inside, what would you choose?

I love raw oysters! Or fried oysters. The Gulf ones are the best - but the rule is you should only eat them during months that have "R" in them (the summer months are too warm).

Pearls are nice, but a diamond would be quite a find, don't you think??

MMMMMMMM, yummy. My kids got to pick an oyster at Seaworld for me in January. It was made into a lovely necklace for me - it's awesome.

But what would I choose? Hm. Diamonds are good. Or George Clooney.

hmmmm...I think money would be fabulous. Enough for us to move back to MN and put a down payment on a house. Or, just a key to the safety deposit box with all the money in it would work. ;) Fun post!
