Update Post
Pardon me for my absence over the past few days. It's been a long and tiring weekend for my family. Both kids were sick (again!). I had to take off work yesterday to take them to the doctor. We sat in the pediatrician's office for over 2.5 hours yesterday afternoon. It was quite miserable. When we left there were more people in the waiting room than when we arrived. This crazy weather, I'm sure can take a lot of the blame! Today, for instance our high was 78°. That probably sounds GREAT to a lot of you, doesn't it? The bad thing is that it was rainy and wind gusts got up to 40mph. The temperatures are steadily dropping, and our projected low is 20 for tonight! THAT, my friends is why we're all sick! In fact, Tyler has pneumonia. We had to get X-rays yesterday and he was a big boy during his "pictures". He's taking a ten day antibiotic. Hopefully he'll recover quickly. Shelby got off a bit easier. She just had a "stomach bug". She's still not feeling 100% but she is better. Anyhow, the biggest part of my weekend was spent checking temps (at one time Tyler's got up to 105°), serving popcicles, and cleaning up bodily fluids. I'm slowly but surely trying to catch up. Unfortunately we're not ready to pull out the camping gear just yet. They're calling for a "wintery mix" on Thursday. *Sigh*

A mothers job is never done. I feel for you my friend. Our hospital has been filled to copacity for weeks now. 'Tis the season. Hang in there:)
I hate wintery mixes...give me snow or give me rain...no mixes please.

I hadnt seen the wintry mix thing yet-but I tell you at 24 degrees outside right now-it sure does feel like wintry mix is coming!!

Yohan got sick too last weekend. The weather here has been erratic so it must have been the cause of his fever.

Being a mom is a job that comes with little perks and so much work...I make a little fun of it today if you need a chuckle.
