Some of those songs bring back fond memories, particularly the songs of Mariah and Toni Braxton.

Dang... Were most of those entertainers even alive in 1977 when I was listening to the music?

Good Post.

Later Y'all.

You know, I love you, Tisha, but I don't think I could find a likable song on your list. I'm a 70s and 80s rock 'n roller myself.

You know what's sad? I graduated in 1990 and I only recognize one of those songs. My musical tastes moved into alternative when I went to college.

I probably knew these songs but I never pay attention to the singer's name or the title of the song, lol !

My, you ARE young! :-)

I was getting ready to celebrate my 20th class reunion the year you graduated... dang, I'm feeling really old.

Bone Thugs? Really? I don't think I've encountered a musical act that offended me quite as much as they did. Yeah, I'm old and getting older.

Happy MM!!

Great list. I graduated in 96 too. I remember these songs well.

Have a great day.

Thankgoodness! Someone else who graduated in 1996! Seems everyone else I know is about 10 years older!

The Macarena- good times! It's funny to see other versions of it now.

And I sang "because you loved me" to my mom at my high school graduation. :)

Macarena is really a great music. It is so lively and makes you feel like dancing when you hear it. Can't avoid moving your body along with the music.

I'm closer to your age, but I recognize more of Sarge's songs... I think that was the year I went to Grad school, and I was too distracted to pay attention to music.

Travis Cody said...

This is bad...I don't recognize any of the songs on that list other than Macarena.

**goes to the corner and pouts**

Ick, the Macarena...that's the only one I recognize although I do know the names of most of the groups.
