Conversations with a 5 year old
This conversation takes place in our vehicle on the way to the video store to rent movies.
Shelby: Mom, I want to rent the movie with the french fry people.
Me: French Fry people? What in the world are you talking about?
Shelby: You know the one with the pig that walks on the ceiling and leaves tracks?
Me: *giggles* Do you mean, "Spider pig?"
Shelby: Yes, that's it, the movie with Spider pig.
Me: That is The Simpsons. So, why do you call them french fry people?
Shelby: Because their hair is made out of french fries.

I kinda thought that too when I was little,albeit older than her when the simpsons came out-in fact I remember thinking I was exactly Barts age...hmmm...LOL.Who doesnt know Spider pig,Spider pig,does whatever a spider pig does or Harry Plopper now?LOL,My kids love that little "diddy"...and we havent seen the movie..;D
